Gulliver’s Travels is a satire on generally on human society by using humor as a tool. The story starts with the travel of Gulliver to unknown lands. For the first time, he found himself on the land of Lilliput where he found dwarf people running their country. The citizens of Lilliput, first become afraid of the Gulliver but later they come to know that he is not a threat to them.
After, this journey, Gulliver travels to another strange place called Brobdingnag, which was habituated by giants. Gulliver was a dwarf in front of them and any one of them could crush him like an ant. But, he becomes an apple of the eye of the queen and spends some good time there. He finds that how his country is similar to his own but has different social values. Gulliver’s journey continues when he again traveled to Laputa.
A country whose whole foundation was science. They use geometry for everything and were experts in it. The philosophy and logic was the main tool for Laputa. Last but not least, Gulliver continues to travel and reached the land called Yahoo. Where he finds inhabitants very similar to human beings. All in all, an interesting read that can teach you many things.
